That's absolutely amazing, Garin! I'm not sure if you've taken a look at other posts recently, but I was actually supposed to be in Haiti today for two weeks of volunteer work. Our trip has been postponed, but the coordinators of the organization I was traveling with are probably heading out next week to assist in aid efforts. If I go, it will be at the end of March. If not, I feel the same way as you--going to keep spreading the word, and supporting those organizations that I'm passionate about (World Vision Canada being tops on the list). Thanks for taking the time to comment!

I think it's amazing that Canada has already donated over $67 million dollars to this cause! I attended an event that raised over $20,000 for World Vision initiatives in Haiti, and that amount was matched by the Canadian government. I recently read a blog post by Google co-founder Sergey Brin, who went to Haiti to volunteer. Brin says another wave of help is still needed. I am going to continue to do my part by spreading the word about Haiti, and by looking to attend more events with donations going towards this cause!
